Special issue of INEOS OPEN dedicated to the memory of Mark E. Volpin
This year marks the 100th anniversary of birthday of Mark E. Volpin, the full member of the Academy of Sciences of USSR, who headed our Institute since 1988 till 1996. As an outstanding scientist he laid out new paths in organic, organometallic, and bioinorganic chemistry as well as catalysis. |

To commemorate this anniversary, INEOS RAS organizes the 4th International Symposium "Modern Trends in Organometallic Chemistry and Catalysis" which will be held on May 23–27, 2023 at our Institute. The Editorial board of INEOS OPEN announces the call for publications for a special issue of our journal dedicated to the memory of Mark E. Volpin. Highlights representing the conceptual summaries on the important achievements as well as full original research papers and communications devoted to the recent advances in the field of organometallic chemistry and catalysis are welcome. An executive editor of this special issue will be the corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, director of INEOS RAS Alexander A. Trifonov. The deadline for submission is June 5, 2023. The submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process according to the journal rules and published in a separate issue.
